John B. Small - Senior Partner

John is a Senior International Retail Banking Executive who has successfully managed several banks in fast and slow growth markets through several economic cycles in both emerging and developed markets. Expertise includes commercial and consumer lending, wealth management, liquidity management, branch operations, credit policy and operational risk.

John’s three Global roles for SCB include Chief Operating Officer, Chief Risk Officer, and Division Executive for Middle East, South Asia, Africa and Europe. He also sat on the SCB Islamic Banking Board. At Citigroup, John was the Group Credit Officer for Global Consumer Banking in South America, responsible for 12 countries.
